Unpacking the Meaning Behind the Name 'Simple Things': A Closer Look

When pondering names for this podcast, I found myself repeatedly drawn to a particular theme. Whether perusing book covers or other designs, I consistently appreciated the elegance of simplicity. The designs that resonated most with me were those that embraced a minimalist approach—uncomplicated layouts with straightforward elements like photos and text. It led me to a profound realization: true beauty often lies in the simplest things. Take, for instance, a lone flower in a field—unpretentious, yet uniquely beautiful in its simplicity.

"Many times, it’s the simplicity of something that renders it beautiful."

Hence, the birth of the podcast name, "Simple Things." Why complicate it when simplicity can be profoundly impactful? My aspiration is for this podcast to be a source of inspiration for anyone who stumbles upon it. I aim to convey the message that beauty doesn't always demand extravagance; greatness isn't contingent on complexity. You don't need the latest and greatest to create something remarkable. So, why wait? If simplicity is the essence of beauty, you don't need a fortune to craft something extraordinary! My hope is that you find the motivation to create something beautiful and meaningful!

Psalms 10:17

“LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:”
